Today we are playing Mr. Fox. In this game, you are traveling to Grandma’s house (end line) with your basket of eggs (soccer ball). Mr. Fox (coach) is fast asleep at Grandma’s house. Your goal is to dribble all the way to Grandma’s house without Mr. Fox taking your basket of eggs.

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Before the game begins, line up shoulder-to-shoulder on the baseline with your basket of eggs.
  • Mr. Fox will be fast asleep at Grandma’s house.

  • Safety: Have children put their arms out to the sides (like an airplane) to help them balance better.
  • Discussion: Ask children to share who they saw doing a good job at playing this game without touching the ball with their hands.
