EQUIPMENT
10 medicine balls
OBJECTIVE
Today we are playing Capture The Flag. The object of this game is to get all the balls on your team’s side of the field.
INSTRUCTIONS
- You begin each round by lining up along the back of your territory with your team.
- Five medicine balls are placed in the end zones at the back of each team’s side of the field.
- When you are in the other team’s territory (their side of the field), they can tag you.
- When capturing a medicine ball, you are safe as long as you have one foot inside the end zone.
- To win the round, your team must have all the medicine balls on your side of the field.
- If you are tagged, the ball is returned and you go to the side of the field and do 10 jumping jacks before you can return to your side of the field.
- The balls may not be passed to a teammate.
- You may only grab one medicine ball at a time.
Game 1: Play as indicated as above.
Game 2: Let the players throw the ball to teammates. If the ball touches the ground the thrower goes to jail
Game 3: Add a “prison” to each side of the field. If you are tagged you must stand in prison until a player from your team tags you and you both MUST get a free walk back.
