STORYLINE
Today we are playing Catch the Clementines II. In this game, you are monkeys trying to collect and store the clementines (basketballs) in your tree house. Your goal is to chest pass as many clementines as possible to the catchers.
INSTRUCTIONS
I will select four catchers, in charge of catching the clementines and putting them into the tree houses (hula-hoops).
The rest of you will be monkeys (runners).
When I say, “GO!” the monkeys must:
Run to the forest
Grab a clementine
Run back and chest pass the clementine to any catcher
Monkeys must pass the clementines outside of the boundary cones.
We will begin a new game when all the clementines are collected and new catchers are selected.
Game 1: Play as indicated above. Monkeys can pass clementines to any catchers.
Game 2: Only caught clementines count. If a pass is not caught the clementine must be brought back.
Game 3: Divide students into teams. Monkeys pass clementines to their team catchers.
Exit Ticket: Students chest pass the ball to the teacher for the teacher to put the ball away.
