1. Introduction (5 minutes)
Introduce the activity, emphasizing creativity and personal expression.
Briefly discuss materials, tools, and safety guidelines (e.g., careful scissor use, glue handling).
2. Demonstration (5 minutes)
Counselors clearly demonstrate a simple example of a craft step-by-step:
Choose materials.
Demonstrate cutting, gluing, and decorating techniques.
Encourage creativity in material selection and design.
3. Craft Making (25 minutes)
Distribute materials to campers.
Campers create their own crafts, freely expressing their ideas.
Counselors circulate, offering support, encouragement, and guidance as needed.
4. Sharing and Celebration (10 minutes)
Campers proudly showcase and describe their craft projects to the group.
Celebrate each camper’s creativity and effort.
5. Clean Up (5 minutes)
Campers tidy their workspace, returning unused materials and tools.
Store completed projects safely for campers to take home.
