PREFACE
The object of the game is to rescue the “animal” from the inside of the well
INSTRUCTIONS
The camp manager will have each team lined up on 1 side of the lot
An “animal” is stuck in the well and the firefighters can’t get it out using their equipment or they might hurt it. The only way is to raise the water level and help it float out
A balloon filled with air will be sitting in a big bucket on the other side of the lot for each team
Each team will have 1 person run to the large container of water and scoop out some to bring to their bucket
No refilling - any spills means the water is lost
Once they reach the other bucket, pour the water in and run back to hand the scoop back to their team
When the balloon rises up due to the water and falls out that team wins
Variation: Use bigger/smaller scoops
TEACHING TIPS
Make sure all participants know they might get wet
Need to give parents prior notice for a “Water” themed week
