1st place in event= 100 points

2nd place in event = 50 points

Teams, Rules, and Guidelines

Teams

  • All teams will be made by Manager/Lead THE DAY BEFORE Fun Friday

  • All campers will sit on field 1 and each coach will sit with their group

Rules

  • Be kind, be honest, be fair

    • Be a good winner -> no bragging, gloating, taunting

  • Sportsmanship 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place overall given by all counselors 

    • Take a look at the Point Chart (listed above)

  • Every single person in your group must participate

    • For individual challenges you may only participate ONCE

Guidelines

  • Camp Manager should take a look at ALL the games listed for FF on Wednesday to be prepared on Friday

  • On Friday -> 5-10 Minutes before Morning Circle, have CITs watch kids while Camp Manager goes over expectations for FF w/ Coaches

    • Each Coach should be looking through the FF games so they know how to set-up, play, and clean-up.

    • Camp Manager will assign set-up and clean-up duties to Coaches and CITs BEFORE AND AFTER games. Decrease transition time by having the next game ready before each game ends

    • When moving on to the next game, have a CIT clean up the field and set up the next game

  • Camp Manager is MCing, keep the energy up and remember that any mishaps can be worked around as long as you stay vocal

    • BE ADAPTABLE

      • Games might not run the way you expect, time management may wander, or kids might mess up. Don’t be afraid to take charge and work with it

    • KEEP TRACK OF TIME

      • If something is running too short do a Best of 5s, do a variation, or use water breaks while CITs are setting up next game

      • If something is taking too long, take out a step or push the game forward
