20 dots (5 red, 5 blue, 5 orange, 5 green)
20 bean bags (5 red, 5 blue, 5 orange, 5 green)
12 hula hoops (3 red, 3 blue, 5 orange, 5 green)
STORYLINE
Today we are playing Race to the Galaxy. In this game, your planet is almost out of resources that you need to survive. Your goal is to gather the remaining resources (bean bags) to fuel your colony ship to get to a newly charted planet before others take it.
INSTRUCTIONS
Before the game begins, you must line up on your dots with your hover crafts (hula-hoops) behind you.
The ground outside of your ship is toxic ground and cannot be stepped on.
When I say, “GO!” you and your team must use your hover crafts to start collecting resources to bring back to your ship.
Once a hoop is placed, it can’t be shifted or moved, aside by picking it back up as long as no one is inside it.
If anyone touches the floor outside of the base or hoops, you must toss the collected resource back out into the game area.
Once you collect a resource, you can either keep it with you, or venture back to your home base and place it one of the dots (fuel tanks).
The team that gets all 5 filled first wins the race to the new planet.
