1 Jump Rope
STORYLINE
Today we are playing Lasso of Truth. Your goal is to jump over and not be touched by Wonder Woman’s Lasso and be the last hero reamining.
INSTRUCTIONS
Before the game begins, I will be Wonder Woman and stand in the middle of the circle holding the lasso.
You will form a circle standing around me.
When I say, “GO!” the lasso will start to move in a clockwise motion touching the ground.
Once the lasso comes close to you, you must jump over it.
If any part of your body touches the lasso, .you must wait for the next round.
TEACHING TIPS
If a camper does not want to play the game, consider designating him/her as referee, where he/she can help you make calls.
Remind campers to make sure that they are aware of the area around them when they are jumping.
Remind campers about honesty and sportsmanship during counting and camp overall
