- Ro Sham Bo to decide which team will start with the ball.
- When I say, "GO!" the team with the ball will start first.
- You cannot check, shove or push another teammate.
- If a ball goes out-of-bounds, the teacher will throw it in.
- Defending students must remain 3 – 5 feet away from their goal.
- If a goal is scored, the opposing team starts with the ball at the midline.

Game 1: Play as indicated above.
TEACHING TIPS
- Approach: Increase the number of courts based on class size. There should be no more than five students per team.
- Approach: If not all students are participating, enforce a rule stating that teams cannot score unless each teammate has received a pass.
- Discussion: Ask students to share what was easy or hard about getting back on defense during this game.
