10 Balance beams
PREFACE
Today we are playing Ounce Neech. Your goal is to listen to what direction is called out and be the last camper tagged .
INSTRUCTIONS
I will choose one camper to be a tagger, everyone else will spread out onto the field
The camper who is “IT” chooses either ounch (up) or neech (down).
If the camper chooses neech, then the ground is not safe; runners can be tagged out unless they are ounch, up on something.
If the camper chooses ounch, then the ground is not safe; runners can be tagged out unless they are ounch, up on something
If "It" chooses ounch, then the ground is safe so everyone remains on terra firma.
The last camper remaining at the end becomes "It" for the next round of the game.
Younger Group Variation (Bumblebees, Dragonflies, and Pink Panthers): Consider asking space questions the kids will be able to answer.
Variation: Give bonus questions that let them “save” teammates and let them rejoin

Remind campers about honesty.
