1 fuzzy ball per student
STORYLINE
Today we are playing Terminator Tag. Your goal is to avoid being hit by the terminators.
INSTRUCTIONS
- I will select five people to begin as the terminators.
- Before the game begins, spread out onto the field.
- When I say, “GO!” the terminators will try and hit you with a fuzzy ball.
- If you are hit (from the shoulders and below) or if you go out-of-bounds, you become a terminator.
- You may not terminate (throw a ball) a person that just hit you.
Game 1: Play as indicated above.
Game 2: Allow every student to have a fuzzy ball (similar to Chaos Tag). If a student is hit with a ball they must sit down. A hit student can only get up when the person that hit him/her goes down.
TEACHING TIPS
- Approach: Play on a half-field only.
- Approach: Depending on class size, increase the number of terminators.
